Damon Buffini Chairman of Permira

Damon Buffini is Chairman of Permira, a leading international private equity firm. Damon joined Permira in 1988, and became a Partner in 1992.
 
Permira manages €23 billion on behalf of 70 pension funds, 40 charities and 8 governmental bodies. It has been involved in numerous transactions including Homebase, Ferretti Motor Yachts, Intelsat and New Look.
 
Damon is President of Fairbridge – a nationwide charity that works to support young people in 13 inner cities throughout the United Kingdom. Damon is also a patron of the Eastside Academy – a charity focused on young black boys in Newham, London.

Damon is a non-executive Director of SVG Capital, a member of the Advisory Board of Cambridge University Endowment Fund and a visiting lecturer of the SAID Business School. He is also a member of the Business Council for Britain and a member of the Council for Educational Excellence.

Tracey T. Travis Chief Financial Officer at Polo Ralph Lauren

Tracey Travis was named Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Polo Ralph Lauren in 2005 with responsibility for worldwide corporate finance, inclusive of accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax and corporate compliance. Ms. Travis’s responsibilities have subsequently expanded to also include Investor Relations and Information Technology, in addition to her financial responsibilities.

Previously, Ms. Travis was with Limited Brands in Columbus, Ohio first as Chief Financial Officer of Intimate Brands Inc. from 2001 to 2002 and from 2002 to 2004 as Senior Vice President of Finance for Limited Brands. From 1999 to 2001 Ms. Travis was Chief Financial Officer of the Americas Group of American National Can, where she led both the Finance and Information Technology groups. Prior to Limited Brands, she held various management positions at Pepsi-Cola/Pepsi Bottling Group from 1989 to 1999. Ms. Travis began her career at General Motors first as an engineer; then after being awarded a GM Fellowship to pursue her MBA, returned to General Motors as a Financial Executive, where she worked on various international product programs, joint ventures and divestitures.

Ms. Travis serves on the boards of Jo-Ann Stores Inc., the Lincoln Center Theater, the Executive Leadership Council Foundation, and the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention, and is Treasurer of the Ralph Lauren Foundation. She is a member of Financial Executives International, the National Association of Corporate Directors, the New York Women’s Forum and the Executive Leadership Council.

Ms. Travis was recognized in 2005 by Treasury and Risk Management Magazine as one of the Top 25 Women in Finance. In 2006 she was named one of the top 50 Women in Business by Black Enterprise magazine.
